Hi there!
Today is the day I am heading to China for my two weeks trip. It’s been five years since I went back to visit my family. My mom is turning 60 and she is going to have a huge birthday party. I know I gotta be there celebrating with her. I made 8 cards ahead of time so I could show you one by one while I am out of states. It’s like I’ve never been gone!
I am here showing a card featuring Pretty Pink Posh Wild rose stamp set. To begin with, I colored all images with watercolor paints and hand fussy cut them.
To create the shaker window, I die cut the frame using Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Oval Frame die out of Neenah Solar white cardstock 110lbs 6 times and glued 5 of them together using Multi Medium Matte to create the base of frame. Then I stacked a piece of acetate paper on the top of this base and close it up with another piece of die cut frame. I chose two kinds of sequins as free movements for this shaker card. One is Pretty Pink Posh 3mm Sparkling Clear sequins and another one is Pretty Pink Posh Jewels in Pansy Purple.
For the background of this shaker window,I ink blended Tim Holtz distress oxide ink in Wilted Violet on to a piece of Tim Holtz distress watercolor paper.
I grabbed a piece of white card stock to cut it slightly smaller than A2 size, then I rounded four corners with a quarter corner chopper. I adhered it onto A2 card base after I splattered some black paint on the top of it.
In the end, I adhered the window onto the card panel and stamp the sentiment “Praying for you” from Pretty Pink Posh Everyday Greetings Stamp set. I embellished the card with some more Pretty Pink Posh Jewels in Pansy Purple.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will be back soon!
