My new Pretty Pink Posh order is almost here. I am here demonstrating how we could stretch our stamp use. This stamp set is called Winter Wonderland. But who says it can only be used in Winter? I am going to rock it and make it into a Spring Mother’s day card!
In order to make it work, I stamped images onto Neenah Solar white 80lbs cardstock paper with Memento ink in Rich Cocoa. I did a little bit alternations such as cutting the holly leaves off the tree branch and removing the bunny off the tree log. Then I colored them with Copic markers and set aside.
I created the background using Tim Holtz distress oxide ink in Twisted Citron, Picked raspberry and Salty Ocean very slightly blended them onto a piece of Tim Holtz distress watercolor paper. I splattered some ink and water mixture onto the paper and dried it with my heat tool. I cut the window out of Pretty Pink Posh Storybook 5 die. I decided not to do a shaker card at this time but I still would like to have some dimension for the window. I adhered foam tape to pop up this window.
Assembling was always fun and easy. I used Multi Medium Matte and foam tape here and there. I noticed the bottom side of window were kinda empty. I pulled out some pre colored flowers and foliage images from Pretty Pink Posh Bunny Friends stamp set . I used one of sentiment stamp from Pretty Pink Posh Love Sentiments stamp set and stamped it with Memento ink in Rich Cocoa.
To finish off this card, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Jewels in Blush and 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins so all pieces could be working well with each other.
That’s about it. Now why don’t you try a seasonal stamp set and turn it into something different and fun?!
