Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #38

Hello my deer! I’ve been thinking about making this scene for a few days but I had no time to create. I quickly put everything together before Mae get off school. I mainly used watercoloring and distress inking techniques. This card can be a Valentine’s Day card or a card for a friend. There are a lot of potential with “Oh my deer”  this sentiment.

  1. I cut out the background panel with a die from MFT Die-namic blueprints 25, then cut them to 3 parts.
  2. I inked the background by using Tim Holtz distress ink in mustard seed and cracked pistachio.
  3. For the background forest scene, I used my cottagecutz die. The deer image and sentiment is from Your Next Stamp Oh Deer! stamp set.
  4. I colored the deer image and the forest scene by using Gansai Tambi watercolor paint.
