Pretty Pink Posh October 2019 Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Day 2 of Pretty Pink Posh October Product Release Blog Hop! If you are impressed with the first day of Blog Hop, You would be over the top with another group of talented card designers with me today. I’ve been on Pretty Pink Posh Design Team for a little more than a year now. I love all the products and Christmas products are always the most exciting one out of all! Today I will show you two cards I made with the new release products.

<Card 1>

To make this card, I started to lay Pretty Pink Posh Snowflakes Stencil over the A2 sized white card base and ink blended with Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Tumbled glass over. Then I splattered white acrylic paint over the background by tapping a paint brush handle. I rested it aside to dry.

To prepare my centerpiece, I used Pretty Pink Posh Winter scene Die to cut out of white and red card stock. I removed the center piece of red die cut and laid the red circle frame over my white die cut, then I assembled the pieces within the die cut using liquid adhesive or foam tape. I decorated the sky part with nuvo crystal drops in Simply White, copic colored the trees, and splattered white acrylic paint over the ground to mimic the snow.

I stamped the snowman with the signs from Holiday Sign Stamp set and the small snowman in the back from Joy Stamp set, I die cut them with their coordinating dies ( Holiday Signs / Joy ) . Then I colored them with copic markers and attached to my centerpiece. At last, I attached my centerpiece onto the background and that’s my first card.

<Card 2>

For my second card, I went for simple but not too simple style. I stamped the JOY graphic images and other elements  from Joy Stamp set and die cut with the Coordinating dies. I also die cut another set of JOY bold letters out of a piece of red card stock paper. For coloring them, I stayed with two tones color combo which is red and blue.

I chose a piece of A2 sized card stock paper as base, then adhered a piece of slightly skinnier white card stock paper over. I overlapped two bold letter cut out slightly off set to create 3D effect. Then I attached all colored images onto the background using foam tapes to finish my card.
