Pretty Pink Posh January 2019 Birthday Product Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Pretty Pink Posh January 2019 Product release Blog Hop! This is Pretty Pink Posh 5 years birthday so we invited lots of talented friends to join us too! You are going to have extreme high dose of inspirations from us. Be prepared! We will start the celebration with me making 3 cards using great products in this release.

<Card 1>

I started by stamping images from the Cupcake Critters Stamp set and coloring it using Copic markers, then I cut them using the Coordinating Dies and set them aside for later use.

I ink blended on a piece of A2 sized watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feather. Then I cut the upper portion using Celebrate Shaker Die to  in-lay over acetate to form the top of the card. On the card base, I ink-blended Tim Holtz  Distress Oxide ink in Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick so that colors can show through the shaker window. To fill my shaker, I added Party Mix Jewels and Seed beads in Sparkling Clear, then  I added 3M foam tape to the entire top panel and secured it over the card base to complete card itself.

I arranged my colored images to the lower portion of background using Foam tape and added some Party Mix Jewels to finish my first card.

<Card 2>

To begin with my second card, I copic colored the unicorn pinata from the Pinata Party stamp set and cut it with its Coordinating Die.  Then I ink blended an A2 sized watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Tattered Rose.  I splattered water over the ink background and removed droplets with a piece of paper towel.

I cut the center piece using Decorative Tag 2 Die out of a piece of gold glitter paper. After adhere it to the background, I stamped confetti images from the same stamp set with versamark embossing ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I hand drew a black vertical line to create the string to hold pinata and attached my colored image on top. I picked pink and yellow jewels out of Party Mix Jewels to match the scene. At last, I stamped the sentiment “Have a Festive Day” that came with this stamp set using a similar ink color to the background.

<Card 3>

For my last card, I used Crocus Flowers Stamp set. Pretty Pink Posh has been doing  a great job on illustrations of florals. All flower images are simple and easy to color. It does not have lots of detailed lines within the images so you could create color shading as you would like to.

I colored selected images from Crocus Flowers Stamp set with my copic markers. Colors I selected are V01, V12, V15, V17 (For flowers), YG06, G05 (For leaves) Y38 (For flower center)  and cut with the Coordinating Dies. Then I ink blending the background using Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet on an A2 sized watercolor paper. I used my fingers to grab some clear water to create different sized droplets over the background and blotted it with a piece of paper towel. Suddenly my background has some interesting textures.

I arranged all colored images on to the lower portion of card using Multi Medium Matte. Then I stamped the sentiment “happy birthday” from Cupcake Critters Stamp set and added purple Jewels form Party Mix Jewels.

Pretty Pink Posh is  giving away $25 gift certificates to those NINE people who comment during the blog hop. Plus, we are giving away a not-yet-released set for qualifying purchases, while supplies last!
