Pretty Pink Posh August 2019 Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Pretty Pink Posh August 2019 Release Blog Hop Day 1! Believe or not, we are stepping into Holiday zone Again. Time just flies like nobody’s business. Making holiday cards is one of my favorite things this time of year. I hope you grab some new goodies from Pretty Pink Posh and hop for prize with us! I made two cards this time to show you some of must have products for Halloween and Fall  in my opinion.

<Card 1>

We like to dress up for Halloween. Why not dress those cute critters as well?! To begin with my first card, I ink blended my background onto a piece of A2 sized watercolor paper using Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Tea Dye, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Black soot. Then I splattered white acrylic paint over it by tapping the handle of a small sized paint brush.

I colored my images using Copic markers. Images used from Fall signs stamp set (Squirrel ) and cut with the coordinating dies , Boo Stamp set (Hat, ghost, bat ) and cut with the coordinating dies, Halloween Friends ( BOO! sentiment ). After I set them aside, I started to prepare my pumpkin  shaker. I cut my pumpkin frame using Grateful Shaker Die and removed the center piece with a pair of scissors. To ink the pumpkin frame, I used Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Fossilized Amber and Carved Pumpkin. Then I attached a piece of acetate paper underneath the frame. I hand draw and cut the outline of the pumpkin onto another piece of paper and inked with Carved Pumpkin Distress oxide ink. I poured tons of orange mini star confetti from Fall Confetti Bundle and sealed the shaker with strong liquid adhesive.

I attached pumpkin shaker window onto my prepped background, and added the fence that I cut using Spooky Fence Die out of black card stock paper. I arranged all colored images and finished my card using Glossy Black Jewels.

<Card2>

Now my next card features quite a bit new products as well. To start with, I ink blended over Pumpkin Background Stencil onto a piece of A2 sized watercolor paper using Tim Hotlz Distress oxide ink in Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade. Then I splattered Spiced Marmalade and water mixture over the background. I cut out my white frames using Scalloped Frame Die and adhered them onto the background with liquid adhesive and Foam tape.

Then I copic colored my sunflower images from Sunflowers Stamp set and die cut with the Coordinating dies, Scarecrow and fall harvest images from Fall Signs Stamp set and die cut with the Coordinating Dies. I did cut the frame line from fall harvest image with scissors to fit into my needs. I also stamped the sentiment onto the frame that scarecrow is carrying.

After arranging all colored images onto the background, I added jewels from Harvest Jewel Mix to embellish my card. I hope you like those two cards and don’t forget to check out other blog hop participators’  blog!
