Pinkfresh Studio June Washi Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Pinkfresh Studio June Wshi Release Blog Hop! I know most of us are pretty familiar with washi tapes. But do you know you could use them in so many ways to improve our card making? Stay and check out my card below.

To start with my card, I Chose a portion of Pinkfresh Studio Rainbow Washi Tape and adhere it onto a piece of white card scrap. Then I randomly die cut them using Essentials:Basic Label Frames Die set.

I cut an A2 sized background out of a piece of Woodgrain Card stock paper and adhered hexagon die cuts onto it with Foam tape to create my background pattern.

For my sentiment, I die cut the background using Essentials:Classic Words Die Set out of vellum paper. I also die cut “hello” script using the same Die set for 3 times. I glued them together to create dimension, then I  heat embossed it with gold embossing powders. Once they are all done, I attached the sentiment onto the lower right corner of my card. At last, I added Jewels from Essentials:Jewel Mix to finish my card.

I absolutely love the rainbow washi tape that was released, and the fact that you used the labels die set to create a geometric card is so much fun. I can see using it and cutting various other colors and come binding them together to make numerous cards. Awesome release as always. Thank you for inspiring.

Ooo, I love washy, loose elements combined with strong geometry, so this is just perfect. And a great way to use the washi in a different, but still relatively simple way. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
